Conservation photography workshop

Conservation Photography

diferent speciesTo photograph the endangered species of the sea turtles is an unique experience!
For all photographers: beginner or enthusiast – local or tourist.

This extraordinary photography excursion furthers the wildlife and habitat conservation by expanding public awareness of issues and stimulating remedial action.

Sea turtles are an endangered species on our planet. Become part of the team to protect them.

Since 1989, the Sea Turtle Salvation Program of Cozumel officially protects the sea turtles arriving to lay their eggs on the beaches, categorize the nests and guarantee a safe baby turtles release into the ocean.

You can become part of it and capture the work of the biologists, photograph the nests and the baby turtle release. Tati Biermas will accompany you and give you valuable tips about conservation photography.

This workshop also includes a brief introduction about the program (usually in English and Spanish) held by the involved biologists.

Become a member of the Salvation Program to raise public awareness with your photos.
50% of your payment for this 3-5hour photography session will be donated to the official Sea Turtle Salvation Program of Cozumel!

You should bring along your charged digital camera (+manual and empty memory card), comfortable shoes, hat, water & mosquito repellent!
Also preferably clothing with long sleeves.
